Add-on module

Your employee suggestion scheme, inside the safety app.

Raven Incident runs your plant's suggestion scheme end to end. Workers submit ideas from a phone in minutes, your committees evaluate on your own marks format, rewards follow from the marks, and a suggestion closes only after the implementation is verified.

Why schemes go quiet

Suggestion schemes rarely die of bad ideas.

At one large petrochemical group, the steering committee met to evaluate two suggestions for the whole year. The workforce had ideas; the suggestion box was the problem. It lived on a desk-bound intranet portal most plant employees never opened.

Schemes go quiet when submitting takes a desk, a login, and a form, and when ideas disappear without a word after submission. The fix is distribution: put the suggestion box inside the app every employee already opens, and keep the loop visibly closed.

How it works

One loop, visibly closed.

  1. 01

    Submit

From a phone in minutes: category, description, photos. On behalf of a colleague too.

  2. 02

    Evaluate

A working committee, then a steering committee, scoring on your own marks format.

  3. 03

    Reward

Reward categories computed from the final marks, on record and defensible.

  4. 04

    Implement

Approved ideas go to the owning department with a project team and a timeline.

  5. 05

    Verify & close

A designated verifier records the benefit before the suggestion closes.

The originator is informed at every step, in the app and by email.

Submission

Two minutes, from anywhere in the plant.

  • Mobile and web submission: category, description, and up to five attachments, with photos straight from the camera
  • Submit on behalf of a colleague; credit stays with the originator
  • Auto-generated suggestion numbers, with continuity for an existing series
  • Every employee tracks their own suggestions, with a status update at each stage
Committee evaluation

Your procedure, digitised.

The committees, marks formats, and thresholds you already run on paper, kept exactly, without the paper.

  • Two-stage evaluation: a working committee at the plant, a steering committee above it, assigned per suggestion
  • Digital evaluation forms in your own marks format, averaged across members and attached to the record, rejected ideas included
  • Score thresholds decide what moves forward; reward categories follow from the final marks
  • Committee cadence and a time-to-reward window tracked, with flags when something sits too long
  • Decisions stay with your committees, on recorded marks; no black-box AI in evaluation
Running the scheme

Run by your coordinator, visible to everyone.

A coordinator routes every suggestion.

Assigns the committee, adds notes and documents, and moves each idea forward. Rejection stays with the committees.

A dashboard for the whole scheme.

Closure rate, time to close, aging, and the pipeline from submitted to closed, by department and category.

Reports for your rituals.

Annual and quarterly committee reports, participation statistics, and award lists, with XLSX export and print views.

Notifications that keep it alive.

Coordinators alerted on every submission; originators informed at every status change, in the app and by email.

Fit & packaging

Built into Raven Incident, shaped to your scheme.

The app workers already open.

The suggestion box sits beside near-miss reporting. One login, one habit, no intranet desk.

Android, iOS, and web.

Workers submit and track from a phone on the plant floor. Committees and coordinators work on the web.

Your own workflow.

Committee stages, roles, and who can act at each step follow your procedure, on the same workflow engine as the rest of Raven Incident.

Configured to your scheme.

Categories, criteria and weights, thresholds, reward bands, eligibility, numbering, and cadence.

Priced as a module.

A one-time module fee per plant on top of Raven Incident, never per user. Participation costs nothing extra.

Marks on record.

Every decision carries the committee's marks and comments, so awards stand up to any review.
